Philodendron tenue x plowmanii is a lovely climbing philodendron with elongated ribbed leaves. These are lovely with great potential, showing the best of both Philodendron tenue and Philodendron Plowmanii in one plant.
If you are keeping it in a soil mix it prefers a free draining well aerated potting mix like most aroids. We recommend our own mix which we see them thrive in when watered once a week
Lighting requirements: Position your Philodendron tenue x plowmanii in a bright, well-lit room with filtered sunlight. Being native to the rainforest areas they do not like direct sun.
Watering requirements: They require a moderate amount of water. Keep soil moist throughout spring and summer but let it dry out completely in between watering.
Environmental requirements: Although it will survive in a wide range of conditions it will thrive mostly in a high humidity environment. Keep it in a temperature range between 20-35 degrees Celsius.
